Cellenis® PRP Facial Rejuvenation Injection

Pre-Treatment

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, niacin supplements and cigarettes 3 days before and after your treatments ( All of these may increase risk of bruising).

  • Avoid aspirin and NSAIDs (Advil, Motrin, and Aleve) for 1 week before your treatment, as they may increase the likelihood of bruising.

  • Discontinue use of any blood thinning agents such as ( Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Gingko Biloba, Cod liver oil at least 3 days to 1 week before the treatment to minimize bruising and bleeding

During the Treatment

  • Your treatment begins with consultation and deep facial cleansing ( topical numbing is applied if needed)

  • Your medical provider will draw your blood

  • The blood is spun in a cetrifuge to separates concentrations of pplatelets within the plasma from other elements of the blood- making it ready for your injections.

  • During injection, you’ll feel a slight stinging sensation at the injection site. Most clients describe this as “pressure” or “pinching”

Post-Treatment

  • Immediatley after the treatment, the skin will have some redness, swelling, small bruising

  • Cold gel packs/ice may be applied to reduce swelling

  • Avoid lying down for 4 hours after treatment to help prevent swelling

  • Sleep on your back with your head elevated the evening after your treatment.

  • Avoid facials and facial muscle manipulation (vigorous rubbing or facial massage) for 2 weeks after treatment.

  • Be sure to use SPF 30 or greater sunscreen.

  • Use gentle skin care products.
